Behavioral Expectations:
Students are expected to uphold the values of respect, responsibility, and integrity. Our disciplinary policies are fair and aim to teach students the importance of good conduct.
Academic Integrity:
We have strict guidelines to prevent cheating, plagiarism, and other forms of academic dishonesty. Upholding academic integrity is crucial for maintaining the credibility of our institution.
Dress Code:
A standard dress code is enforced to promote discipline and unity among students. The dress code is designed to be comfortable, practical, and appropriate for a learning environment.

SPORTS GALA
Sports gala is an annual sports event where all students get to participate and compete with each other. The winners are recognized and rewarded while giving them an opportunity to compete for national level clubs.
SCIENCE & ART EXHIBITIONS
Every year, we organize Science and Arts Exhibitions so that our students get a chance to pursue their passion and interest in life. This generates a platform for innovation and art.
Student Code of Conduct
All Students must abide by the college Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines as may be promulgated by the college Administration from time to time. Breach of these Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines shall render them liable to disciplinary, administrative and legal action including but not limited to imposition of fine, suspension or expulsion (both provisional and permanent) from the college.
- No student is allowed to exhibit, prepare or distribute any poster, leaflet, notice, pamphlet or handbill in the college premises without prior permission from the Principal.
- Any student aggrieved by any happening in the college shall lodge a complaint with the Principal and not with any outside authority unless the Principal permits him/her to do so.
- Use of mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited in the college premises and during the college Functions. Mobiles and cameras confiscated shall only be returned if disciplinary committee permits.
- Smoking in the college premises is strictly prohibited.
- Every student of the college is required to be punctual in the class. Any student remaining absent from classes without proper permission for a continuous period of 06 days, excluding holidays, shall be struck off from the college Roll unless the cause of absence is explained to the satisfaction of the Principal. In that case, the student may be re-admitted within 15 days (after his name is dropped from college roll) on payment of Re-Admission Fee and college Dues.
- Students are forbidden to contact any higher authority directly. Intended communication with any higher authority must be submitted through the Principal who will forward it, if he/she considers it desirable.
- The college authorities can revise dues without any prior notice. This revision wiII be applicable to all students enrolled at that time or in future.
- No student is allowed to leave the class without the permission of his/her teacher or until the class is over.
- Late-comers in the class may be marked absent.
- Any student misbehaving in the classroom/college shall at once be reported to the Principal by the teacher. The Principal will take such action as he/she may deem proper. The teacher can recommend a penalty as well.
- Any political or immoral activity is strictly prohibited in or around the college premises.
- A fine of Rs.100/- per lecture will be imposed for absence without proper leave.
- Private telephone calls of the students will not be entertained. However, an emergency message can be conveyed.
- Students must keep the college identity Card during their stay in the college premises and during college functions.
- Students are required to wear the prescribed uniform while attending the college.
- The college authorities reserve the right to revise any class schedule or to re-arrange the classes.
- The college will not be responsible for loss of any mail/valuables sent to a student at the college address.
- The college is not responsible for any loss/damage regarding the student’s belongings.
- The college students, while parking the bikes/motor cars, are required to put proper lock on them. The college administration shall not be responsible for any loss on this account, whatsoever.
- The students who want to migrate from Sir Syed Model School & College Haripur to any other college can apply within ten days of taking their Board/University Examinations. After ten days, they will have to pay full fee for Clearance.
- Any false information on the Application Form may render the student liable to expulsion from the college.
- The college grants fee-concessions and scholarships of different nature at the time of admission. These concessions and scholarships are applicable only to the current installment and must be renewed when the next fee installment is due. Mere recommendation for a fee-concession and scholarship does not entitle a student to its grant. Certain conditions and requirements must be fulfilled for eligibility.
- Students can get benefits like Concessions, Scholarships in case of fulfilling the attendance requirements and observing the fee-schedule. However, the application for fee concession must be submitted within the time frame given by the college. Applications received after the lapse of that time period will not be entertained. 90% attendance for scholarships and 80% for other concessions is mandatory.
- Any fee concession/prize/scholarship is granted only at the discretion of the college Administration and can be withdrawn at any time.
Societies
BLOOD DONOR SOCIETY
The aim of the Blood Donor Society is to gather a team of highly motivated students who can enthusiastically put in an effort to gather blood from volunteer donors amongst the students, faculty and staff of the college. It is the responsibility of the society to ensure the availability of blood at a time of emergency or for regular cases.
DEBATING SOCIETY
The Debating Society plays a prominent role in facilitating students with the possibilities to explore their capability in the field of debating/declamations. The society conducts bilingual monthly and annual debating events. The best teams are presented with trophies on the basis of their performance. The society also selects the teams of debaters for participation in the inter-college debating/declamation contests.
DRAMATIC CLUB
At Sir Syed Model School & College Haripur, dramas, short plays and skits play an integral part at welcome parties, concerts and other occasions. To improve the quality of such activities, students require a proper arrangement in this regard so that they can exhibit and enhance their dramatics skills. Through the dramatics club, students gain confidence, improve their public speaking skills and learn to express themselves. This club aims to contribute to personality and character-building through the performing arts.
LITERARY CIRCLE
This society aims to promote healthy reading and writing habits among students. The circle convenes regular events and each session comprises of a selection of a particular book in prose or poetry, followed by discussion on the author, chosen excerpts and important chapters. After the session, all members are required to contribute a small review and critique. The sessions are conducted in both Urdu and English literatures. The circle also intends to involve speakers and renowned writers on its guest-list.
TOURISM CLUB
The aim of this club is to promote the country’s cultural and natural heritage through tourism in a sustainable way by making our students conversant with regional trends and diversity. The club will also arrange different tourism activities.
IT CLUB
IT Club is dedicated to providing students with a club focused on IT-oriented activities. The aim is to give our students a chance to develop IT-based projects and get a hands-on experience to gain more knowledge about IT. Club members will participate in field trips to software houses, IT related campus projects and other IT-related activities.
SPORTS CLUB
Extracurricular activities are incomplete without sports and here at Sir Syed Model School & College Haripur, we keep this on the top of all activities. Some highlights of the sports agenda include league tournaments of badminton, basketball, cricket, hockey, football and table tennis. Apart from on-campus activities, students also take an active part in inter-college tournaments.
HEALTH AWARENESS CLUB
Health Awareness Club is established to arrange the activities related to general health awareness among students. Seminars are conducted in coordination with experienced local doctors to increase awareness about important health related issues like self-medication and mental health.
GO GREEN CLUB
The Go Green Club is about focusing towards plantation for environment change as we all know global warming is one of the key issue around the world. This club raise campaigns for plantation and participate and supervise plantation activates.
SCIENCE CLUB
Science Club is dedicated to providing students with a club focused on science-oriented activities. The goal is for students to learn, develop professionally and enjoy social interaction with fellow students in an extracurricular environment. Club members participate in field trips, campus projects and other science-related activities.
ART CLUB
The Art Club is mainly responsible to streamline the production, promotion and showcasing of art work by the students. That is why the Art Club members remain busy throughout the academic session in various demanding activities. Students associated with this club make themselves available outside working hours, as they play the main role to develop art projects which they can showcase in regular and annual events. They can also participate in art, painting and poster-making competitions.
YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS CLUB
Young Entrepreneurs Club focuses on educating students about the importance and benefits of entrepreneurship and offers startups with incubator services. It organizes events to help students and alumni connect to the networks’ supporting startups.
WELFARE SOCIETY
The Welfare Society at Sir Syed Model School & College Haripur is a non-profit society run by students. This society works for the welfare of humanity without any discrimination of cast, creed, color, sect and religion. It serves deserving students, indigent patients and college staff. The society will regularly organize events and seminars to increase awareness about social welfare activities. These events will also be used as a major source for fundraising to help deserving people in case of any natural disasters or any other event.
ISLAMIC SOCIETY
The Islamic Society is responsible to promote activities that can build a positive image of Islam and to also discuss the most common misconceptions about Islam. Seminars will be conducted in coordination with popular Islamic scholars to educate students with knowledge of Quran. It provides spiritual support to students through the activities designed in a more organized form. The society will also regularly conduct Qira’at competitions between the students.
PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB
The ultimate purpose of the Photography Club is to provide a supportive environment for interested photography students to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography, while studying. The club will organize regular workshops in collaboration with popular photographers. Members of the club will also explore the possible opportunities for photography projects and explore the possibilities of exhibitions on and off campus. The society will also regularly conduct photography competitions between the students.
